Christmas Hampers

To spread a little seasonal cheer Melling Parish Council have donated traditional hampers to residence of Melling over the age of 65 who had been nominated by local organisations.

The Chairman, Councillor Dawn Beaumont said: “While we are looking forward to Christmas and spending time with loved ones, I want to make sure we give a thought to those people for whom Christmas may not always be a time of cheer.  This time of year should bring people together and remind them that they are part of a community who cares for them.”
